Established in 1932 by John W. Stead, J.W. Stead and Son Ltd have been providing service and support to the textile finishing and carpet manufacturing industries for over 70 years.
Originally from Bradford, Yorkshire, the company moved 25 years ago to the small town of Shipley a few miles to the North. Four generations of the Stead family have created a wealth of experience in the manufacture and supply of quality products for the textile industry and other industrial sectors.
As we manufacture and repair many of our products, we offer quick delivery times and competitive prices, along with the invaluable service and support our customers have always received.
We have been exporting around the world for many years and we have a great depth of experience in international trade and commerce.
Over the last 5 years, we have expanded our premises at Preserve Works (a former jam factory), and we now have a new stockroom, warehouse and new industrial cleaning room.
